Human Made at Dover Street Market: Recap
I'm typing this post as I whiz through the English countryside making my way back to Manchester. Had the most productive trip to London ever. Met up with some inspiring people and close friends which always fire's my brain cells. So much going on at the moment but all shall be revealed in due course. I thought the trip would be a great opportunity to check out the Human Made exhibition at Dover Street Market in London. If you haven't been to that shop.. Get yourself down there. The installation is on the basement level of the store and looks like a mini re-creation of the Human Made Cold Coffee store in Tokyo. All the pieces are limited so what you see is what you get. There's no stock at the back. The whole idea is that you leave with a piece that you will get years of use out of. It's the ethos behind the Human Made brand. I picked up the black iPhone vinyl but they have it in grey and white too. Even the crates that are used to display the pieces were custom made for the event. Hats off to the folks at anumberofnames for attention to detail. But then again I expect nothing less.
The exhibition runs till the end of the month so make sure you call around...
