Manchester School of Art: Degree Show Menswear
I was fortunate enough to get front row seats at the Manchester School of Art Degree show yesterday which showcased some rather talented students doing what they do best. I must have taken around 400 pictures in under an hour and a half. It was set at the Museum of Science and Industry bang in the middle of town. A quick change after work and I was rearing to go. Ive split the menswear and womens wear into two separate posts. Lets start with the boys. Overall there were a lot of punk influences with some of the designers having showcased their work at the Graduate Fashion Week in London last month. There were some great knits too. One particular designer that stood out was Rose Dent. Scroll down below for some more images. I have to admit this was the first time Ive used my Sony NEX-5 at a fashion show and I was deeply impressed to say the least. What a wonderful evening which couldn't have been in an even more apt setting.
