MacBook Pro 2011
Not quiet the refresh we were all hoping for but a welcome change never the less, featuring Intel's new Thunderbolt I/O port technology the new 2011 MacBook Pro's offer more value for money than ever before, the prices have virtually remained the same and we get up to 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processors with Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology capable of cranking up to 3.4GHz for the 15" and 17" models, the 13" model also gets a dual-core Intel Core i5 or i7 processor with 2.3GHz-2.7GHz speeds and Intel HD graphics. All models now feature a full-screen HD video FaceTime Camera along with up to 8GB of RAM and a choice of hard drives ranging from 256MB to 750GB and 128MB-512MB solid-state drives. Another update was that MobileMe was pulled from the store shelves and the online store. I wonder what they have in store for that? I am one of the few people on the planet that uses MobileMe and as handy as it is to keep all my devices in sync I have to admit being tempted with Android bandwagon where you get more for free straight out of the box. Were you waiting out for a MacBook Pro refresh and disappointed by what Apple has brought out or are you just going to get one anyway? We would love to hear..
