Collisions, Geoff Diego Litherland
With its combination of galactic geometric shapes and painterly gestures the work by artist Geoff Diego Litherland is nothing short of impressive, Geoff combines abstract motifs with appropriated images which have been distorted using bright colours and grid structures, somehow among all the chaos you can still make sense of it all and relate to the objects within them. Geoff uses pigment that has been ground down from materials found in the British landscape. Litherland's work can be viewed up close at the upcoming exhibition at Art Work Space in London from Monday 28th February - Friday 1st April 2011. Hit the jump to see more of Geoff's work.
